Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy have become DJ’s, remixing Disney tunes into colorful stories at this all-new state-of-the-art ice show. Get ready to turn up the fun when Disney On Ice presents Let’s Dance! visits Allstate Arena in Rosemont from January 23-26 and February 6-9 plus the United Center in Chicago from January 30–February 2, 2025!

This production invites guests to belt out Disney’s chart-topping tunes, as their favorite stories are brought to life on and above the ice. Fans are sure to be wowed by the cutting-edge figure skating, high-flying acrobatics, unexpected stunts, thrilling special effects, eye-catching costumes, and stunning set designs.

Audiences will experience a nonstop party that encourages them to journey to unforgettable places, laugh, sing, dance, and make magical memories together. Through the magic of music, what started as a party transforms into a fantastic adventure! This all-new and thrilling Disney On Ice production features fan-favorite stories including:

WISH

Last year, Disney On Ice became the first live entertainment show to debut Asha before the animated film’s release. Now, the entire Kingdom of Rosas will magically come to life, featuring even more characters from Wish. Asha, Valentino, Star, and King Magnifico come together to bring to life “This Wish,” “I’m a Star,” and “This Is The Thanks I Get?!”

FROZEN 2

Journey to Arendelle and the Enchanted Forest in Frozen 2 with Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf as they are reminded that “Some Things Never Change.” Visit the river full of memory, Ahtohallan, as Elsa asks memories of the past to “Show Yourself,” and Olaf thinks this will all make sense “When I’m Older.”

MOANA

The audience will immediately “Know The Way” when Moana shows them “How Far I’ll Go,” as she journeys from the island of Motunui to save her home from Te Kā. Along the way she meets Maui who reminds everyone “You’re Welcome.” The duo comes face to face with Tamatoa who hasn’t always been this “Shiny.”

THE LION KING

Escaping to the Pride Lands with Simba and Nala from The Lion King, audiences should “Be Prepared” as Scar and the hyenas plot to take over the throne. Timon and Pumbaa remind us it’s best just to say “Hakuna Matata” as everyone celebrates the “Circle of Life.”

THE LITTLE MERMAID

Skilled maestro, Sebastian, strikes a chord “Under the Sea” when he conducts Ariel, her seven sisters, and a colorful orchestra of sea creatures from The Little Mermaid. Guests will be singing along as Ariel serenades Prince Eric with a wish to become “Part of Your World,” and a symphony of lagoon insects perform “Kiss the Girl.”

REVIEW: Disney on Ice Presents Road Trip Adventures Now Playing The Chicagoland Area Through February 9, 2020

Disney On Ice presents Road Trip Adventures Takes Families on a Fun-Fueled Excursion to Iconic Disney Destinations

Guest Review:
by Kimberly Robb Baker

Disney on Ice’s Road Trip Adventures hits all the right notes.

Firstly, you can’t go wrong with Disney characters singing, er lip syncing—but don’t tell the kids, and frolicking on the ice doing fancy tricks while covered in Swarovski crystals (costumers hand-applied 250,000 of the sparkly little guys this time around).

Grownups can be excused for anticipating that this production may be a bit like the last with, perhaps a reshuffling of the characters and songs. Grownups would be wrong.

From writing to choreography, special affects and, of course, sparkly and innovative costumes, this road-trip themed extravaganza brings the goods and will keep the whole family engaged.

The sheer athleticism of the cast is on full display right from the opening number where chimney sweeps perform “flags” on the light poles and ride trick bikes on the ice while Mary Poppins and Jack do a carefree ice dance.

Throughout, there are circus artists adding dimension to the experience. The skaters themselves often leave the ice, swinging and spinning through the air on creatively designed set pieces.

The puppets in the Lion King number were gorgeous, and the love ballad dance between Simba and Nala was graceful, athletic and emotive—a nice balance to the sheer excitement of most of the other numbers.

Kids of all ages could be heard joining in on favorites, especially to Elsa’s Let it Go and Moana’s How Far I’ll Go.

Expect a family singalong on the way home!

Feld Entertainment, Inc., the worldwide leader in producing live touring family entertainment, will bring the Academy Award® winning and number one animated feature film of all time, Disney’s Frozen, to Chicago-area fans in Disney On Ice presents Frozen. The limited four-day, eight-performance engagement will run Thursday, Sept. 27, through Sunday, Sept. 30, at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill.

The complete adventure of the Academy Award® winning tale will be told live in this production, capturing the dynamic of two royal sisters, Anna and Elsa. Anna, a girl with an extraordinary heart, embarks on an epic journey to find her sister, the magical Elsa, who is determined to remain secluded as she finally feels free to test the limits of her powers. Rugged mountain man Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, the lovable and hilarious snowman Olaf and the mystical trolls help Anna along the way in this story about love conquering fear. “In our many years of producing Disney On Ice shows, Feld Entertainment has been waiting for a film like this,” says producer Nicole Feld. “While it might seem obvious that Frozen is well suited for the ice, this Disney On Ice production will touch audiences emotionally through innovative show elements and world-class skating.”

Frozen directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee add, “Seeing audiences around the world embrace Frozen has been the experience of a lifetime. And to now have the chance to consult with the talented team at Feld Entertainment and watch their creation come to life on ice, is thrilling.”

In Disney On Ice presents Frozen, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse take the audience through the magical story based in Arendelle, with special appearances by beloved Disney princesses and favorite characters from Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story and Finding Nemo and Disney’s The Lion King, who come together to prove that true love is the greatest power of all. Director Patty Vincent says, “Our goal is to showcase these heartwarming characters in a way that allows the audience to cheer and sing along throughout this emotional journey.”

To create a completely immersive experience for the audience, the set design will encompass the space from the ice surface up through the air, drawing everyone into the story and closer to the characters. Local families are invited to turn an ordinary day into an extraordinary one when Disney On Ice presents Let’s Celebrate! arrives in the Chicago area for performances Jan. 22 - 26 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill., and Jan. 29 - Feb. 9 at Chicago’s United Center. Featuring more than 50 classic and contemporary Disney characters, Let’s Celebrate! is a captivating compilation of favorite holidays and celebrations from around the world, jam-packed with fun surprises and spectacular skating.

Favorite Disney songs, an original storyline, brilliant costumes and high energy action will have audiences celebrating some of the world’s most popular events without ever leaving Chicago. From twisting and fire-twirling Hawaiian luau dancers to the zombie-like movements of the ghoulish groupies in the Halloween segment, choreographer Cindy Stuart adds high-energy and a unique style to each performance number. Audiences get a taste of New Orleans, where Tiana’s story takes place, in a Mardi Gras performance that is packed with upbeat jazz-influenced choreography and music.
