Here at ChiIL Mama we love to support and feature local vendors. So, for our final Jewel post in our Huge Sale series, we're highlighting Eli's Cheesecake. Jewel is celebrating their 115th anniversary and Eli's is great for whatever you celebrate. We've seen Eli's at presidential inaugurations, Chicago's birthday party, loads of theatre events, The Auditorium Theatre's Anniversary and many more occasions large and small. Everything's sweeter with cheesecake, especially when it's Eli's, because they make it with only the best ingredients.

National Cheesecake Day just recently passed, but every day's a great day for cheesecake. Yum!

Our family loves to camp out and grill out, at home and in the woods. What are your camping food favs? This past weekend we headed out to where the trees are taller than the buildings with a slew of friends. First we headed to Jewel. Here's some of our must eats over the campfire.

• S'Mores ingredients--marshmallows, cinnamon & regular Graham Crackers, and Hershey bars.
• Ground turkey & beef & sharp cheddar cheese for burgers for everyone
• eggs/milk/bread/cinnamon sugar for rockin' French Toast
• salt-pepper-garlic salt & fresh garlic
• sweet corn/asparagus/potatoes/Brussels sprouts
• nectarines/kiwi/bananas
• coffee/beer/wine

We have two ice cream balls to make homemade ice cream in the great outdoors, so we stocked up on ingredients for those as well:

• chocolate chips
• hot chocolate powder
• ice/rock salt
• half n half
