Multiply Your Savings With Groupon Coupons For Loads Of Merchants

My kids are heading back to school on Tuesday after Labor Day, so we've been doing much more shopping than usual. And our family menagerie of two big dogs, four guinea pigs, and schools of tropical fish constantly need food and supplies. My job is to find coupons that make that prospect more affordable.

Here at ChiIL Mama we're pleased to partner up with Groupon and US Family Bloggers for this sponsored post. I have been compensated for sharing this offer with our readers. As always, all opinions are my own.

We're frequent Groupon shoppers, for our fun day plans like local activities, restaurants, and hot spots, but Groupon's great for those errand running days too. There's nothing boring about saving cash. Groupon offers a mind boggling 70,000 deals on over 9,000 retailers!

They count for online shopping like Amazon and more, and you can print out coupons or just show them on your phone for real time shopping at Petco, Target, Home Depot, Walgreens, Starbucks and thousands more. At his very moment Groupon is even offering 25% off your first Groupon with code WELCOME at check out. Deals on top of deals? Can't beat that.

On the Groupon site I pulled up Petco today since I'm shopping for the hungry horde that is our family's personal petting zoo. They have 41 coupons available today. Forty One! One of my absolute favorite deals is 50% off everything for Labor day (through 9/5/17). Score!

While on the Groupon site be sure to check out all of the other retailers they offer deals and coupons for such as Ebay, Bed Bath & Beyond, Aeropostale, Nordstrom Rack and so many more. Groupon's got your errands covered for less green.

Groupon Coupons -- The Rhyme That Saves You Time

Want to save money on sites and stores you already love, or discover some new ones? Groupon Coupons is a simple time and money saver that makes so much sense. We've found long time favorites there like Things Remembered for personalized gifts and Claire's, where my daughter and I both got our ears pierced.

Here at ChiIL Mama we're elated to partner up with Groupon once again for this sponsored post. As always, all opinions are my own.

Have you checked out Groupon CouponsThings Remembered is my go to spot for personalized presents for special occasions and memorable teacher gifts. Back in the day I got my ears pierced at Claire's, and when my daughter was in kindergarten she did the same. We both found some fun Indonesian spiral earrings that summer at Summercamp Music Festival that look like gauges, but really have a post in the middle. We got so many comments and compliments!

My all time favorite comment, however, was from our 4 year old friend, Gabby. She was fascinated and obsessed with my spirals, asking to touch them and curiously checking them out for days. Finally she asked what they were made of.

When I said, "They're carved horn." I could see the wheels turning in her brain.
She paused a few beats, then remarked, "Those must be really little sheep."
Indeed!

Groupon Things To Do Makes Saving Money Fun

My family's been huge fans of Groupon for years. As a busy, urban mom of two teens, I've turned to Groupon Things To Do for family activities, gifts for friends, and foodie fun. I've also found Groupons for my favorite spa, because a little "me time" is a rare and welcome luxury, and the discounts on Groupon make it easy to justify and affordable enough to treat friends too.

Groupon Things To Do makes it easy and affordable to find Things To Do where you live. We adore exploring Chicago and Groupon saves dollars and makes sense. We've found a plethora of perfect places on Groupon for a wide range of tastes. Here are four of my top Chicago favorites that I buy Groupons for repeatedly: Logan Square Movie Theater, King Spa, Jump Sky High and Superdawg Drive In. Groupon keeps my family well entertained, well fed and well relaxed without breaking the bank.

Like father, like son... these two like movies, and with Groupon's deals we can afford to see more. It's sometimes hard to find places teens are still willing to be seen with their parents, but we all find common ground at our lovely, vintage theater. We've even caught movies there with 3 generations of our family with our Groupons for 2 tickets, popcorn and drinks!

The Logan Theater has rockin' retro decor, and shows everything from classics, art films and late night camp classics, to first run features and recent hits. They also have real butter for the popcorn, a full bar (and you can bring the drinks into the theatre!) and reasonably priced concessions.

This gem has been our local neighborhood theater since it was built in 1915! A few years back it was old and musty, with lumpy seats, a leaking roof, and mildewed carpets. The only thing going for it was the cheap ticket prices. Now it has been lovingly restored and it's gorgeous, with character to spare! This stained glass lobby window was hidden under wood paneling and the new owners had no idea it was there till they began renovating. Now Logan Theater is a charming mix of vintage and new, with framed movie posters from bygone eras, and comfy, modern reclining chairs with large drink holders. Check out fun finds like this in your home town or mine. Find your particular bliss with Groupon Things To Do, because doing things and still having money in your wallet is pretty incredible.

Chicago Bluegrass and Blues Discount Tixs at Groupon-TODAY ONLY!

Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Announces First Night at Auditorium Theater via Groupon: David Grisman & Del McCoury playing together in honor of Bill Monroe, plus separate sets by the DGQ, DMB, Joe Purdy, Giving Tree Band, Henhouse Prowlers & More.

AVAILABLE ON GROUPON TODAY ONLY! -  2 Seats for $40

Back-to-back January weekends will again bring a pair of eclectic tributes to the genres that started it all.

The first weekend, CBB’s ceremonial founding father, David Grisman, will bring his Quintet to the Auditorium Theater at Roosevelt University on January 21st, 2012, to join longtime friend Del McCoury, and his festival-favorite Del McCoury Band. On top of their respective sets, the legendary duo will take the stage together for a “Big Mon Jam,” inspired by the Father of Bluegrass, Bill Monroe.  Joe Purdy will return to Chicago for the first time since a sold-out date at Lincoln Hall to round out the bill with Henhouse Prowlers, and two bands synonymous with the festival itself, The Giving Tree Band and Majors Junction.  Ticket prices will vary range between $39.50 – $59.50.

Stay tuned for second weekend (January 28th) announcement coming very soon.

Check out this all ages, family friendly fest, that bring an outdoor style music fest to Chi-Town indoors, in the dead of winter....just when we need it most.    There's nothing that can thaw the frozen souls of Chicagoans in January quicker than barefoot performers cranking out hot bluegrass and blues.   Last year we gave away passes at ChiIL Mama and covered the fest.  You can check out our photo filled recaps here:

Side Stages and Audience Characters

Our kids grew up on 80's punk, but they also always adored Dave Grisman.    If you're raising littles and you're not familiar with his "not for kids only" CDs and books, check 'em out.    Highly recommended!    Here are a couple of our family favs.

Teddy Bears Picnic

When Du-Jay was a toddler and we'd ask him who sang on these discs, he'd always say "Grisman and See ya, Jerry."   Ah, fun times.
