FOODIE TUESDAY: New Reusable Liquid Spout Pouch Eco-Friendly Favs from #IHHS14

Re-Pac Bags Launch Just in time for April (Earth Month)

These handy reusable spout pouches are easy to use, easy on the wallet, and easy on the environment, too!

Great for:
  • Juices, smoothies, apple sauce, yogurt
  • Baby food and other liquid treats
  • Toiletries and so much more!
  • The tight zip-top holds it all in and makes clean-up a breeze. Dishwasher & freezer-safe!

FDA-approved, and free of harmful BPA and phthalates. Made to last and save you money!
Final product will be 100% made in USA!

The new squeezable food pouches are everywhere these days. You can buy a strawberry-banana blend at your local Starbucks, or a carrot-apple sauce at your local grocery store. But where do you find reusable pouches that you can fill with your own healthy recipes?

Enter Re-Pac Bags. The makers of the already popular reusable sandwich and snack bag have begun to offer their newest product online: reusable, refillable, zip-top spouted food pouches.

Re-Pac Spout Pouches were designed with a simple zip top closure that allows for easy refilling, yet keeps food fresh with its airtight seal. Food can be stored in the freezer, refrigerator, or packed in the lunchbox or purse for midday, on-the-go snacks. And best of all, the easy-to-clean pouches can be thrown in the top rack of the dishwasher.

Enthusiastic fans have already expressed excitement over the food pouches on the company’s Facebook page. Runners, backpackers, hikers, travelers, and (of course) moms are already listing ways they want to use their spout pouches. Smoothies, juices, salad dressings, even travel-sized shampoo & bodywash are among the uses named.

“My sister just had her first baby and I know she's planning on making some of her own baby food,” wrote Facebook fan Charlotte Murray. “These would be so awesome to give her!”

Re-Pac Spout Pouches are FDA-approved and contain no harmful BPA or phthalates. More information regarding Re-Pac Spout Pouches and the existing line of reusable sandwich and snack bags can be found on the company’s website, www.re-pacbags.com

2014 International Home + Housewares Show 3/15-18 & Inventors Call Out

ChiIL Mama will once again be bringing you full coverage on the home, housewares and foodie front this year.  We'll also be checking out the special inventors and entrepreneurs event the Friday before IHHS.  We spread the word on the Edison Nation/HSN earlier and the deadline for submissions has now past for this year, but we'll be chiILin' in Chi, IL with all the inventors and bringing you the hottest new ideas on the home front.

“The 2014 International Home + Housewares Show kicks off in Chicago on Saturday, March 15 through Tuesday, March 18. HSN and Edison Nation’s CEO, Louis Foreman, will be arriving early to host a special event for 75 inventors and entrepreneurs on Friday, March 14.

Registration to the Home + Housewares Show is free, but you must register here before March 14.”

Special HSN/Edison Nation event for 75 inventors and entrepreneurs

DATE: Friday, March 14

EVENT: See 75 top inventors and entrepreneurs pitch their best housewares ideas to HSN executives—as well as to the Edison Nation team, led by CEO and product development expert Louis Foreman—during the 2014 International Home + Housewares Show in Chicago.

Winners in “Inventors Call Out” will be invited to have their products sold on HSN.

“Inventors Call Out,” sponsored by Edison Nation, gives inventors a chance to put their ideas in front of the people who can turn those ideas into reality—and cash. All 75 are finalists, having had their ideas selected from hundreds of submissions after rigorous judging.

Presenters are paying their own way to Chicago for the chance to hit it big on HSN.

ABOUT:  People from around the world use Edison Nation to get their innovations in front of retailers and manufacturers, to store and perfect their ingenious ideas, keep up with inventive friends, and learn what it takes to create and introduce a successful product to the market.
