My husband and I trade off on laundry and dish duty (for multi year shifts) and I'm back to dishes as of this week, after over a decade on laundry detail. So I'm extra jazzed about the West Loop Mug's new lid clean ability. Next to my pet peeve of leaky, impossible to open mugs is a hatred of hard to clean lids with lots of little lose-able parts and moldy cracks and crevices. As an eco-conscious mom, it seems like I'm on an endless quest to find decent reusable drink ware. Our cupboards were overflowing with a zillion leaky water bottles, travel mugs and drink shakers, and the ones that didn't leak were impossible to open. As a family, we are ALWAYS on the go and our favorite drinks go with us. Contigo makes life so much easier and spills less frequent. I'm especially happy about the spill-proof design, because we just bought a new car in March, with a grand total of 8 cup holders, and I'd love to keep it spill free as long as possible! As a Mom I know water is key to keeping my kids healthy, so a drink free car zone's just not going to happen, but I want that new car smell to linger.
