WFFLF Takes First Place In The Next Big Thing At Metro & Help Northbrook Garage

ChiIL Mama sends big congrats to When Flying Feels Like Falling, who placed FIRST in The Next Big Thing Contest at Metro on Sunday!   You rock!!   Check these guys out.

See more of their performances on YouTube.

Wanna see 'em live?   They're playing this Sunday, Dec. 11th at Girls Rock! Chicago's record release party from 3pm-5pm.  WFFLF goes on at 4:15pm! Come hang out and hear some sneak previews of GR!C's CD from the 2011 camp! It will be at Saki, 3716 West Fullerton Avenue Chicago, IL 60647.

We first met Violet at the tender age of 3, in a park district tots play group.   She was already rockin' the punk wardrobe, and I brought her b-wild and punky spray in hair color, body glitter, and black nail polish from the trade shows I was working for Jerome Russell.    Sweet to see her morph into a righteous punk teen, instead of rebelling into someone boring and conventional.   Come on out and support the punk kin!

We also want to give a shout out to Northbrook Garage

These talented kids from Chi town's burbs rocked Kidzapalooza this past summer.   Check out our photo filled recap here.   They need our help to win recording studio time at Ardent.   So take a minute to check out their video and click to vote.  Pretty painless.
