Spamalot-at Drury Lane in Oakbrook-final days.   The show must close Sunday.
"Monty Python's SPAMALOT"

Directed By: William Osetek
Choreographed By: Tammy Mader

Spamalot - Winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical of the 2004–2005 Season
A musical comedy "lovingly ripped off from" the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Like the film, it is a highly irreverent parody which tells the legendary tale of King Arthur’s quest to find the Holy Grail. SPAMALOT features a chorus line of dancing divas and knights, flatulent Frenchmen, and even killer rabbits. Theatre fans will appreciate this farce as there are many references to other musicals and musical theater in general, such as the spoof of Andrew Lloyd Webber productions and many other Broadway power ballads.

Sunday
Human-Tim + Robot Tim Sunday, March 6!

Great music and great fun start at noon
Human-Tim And Robot-Tim recalls jubilance of They Might Be Giants. Tim Knuth—that’s Human-Tim—vocalizes all of the songs: There are animal sounds, hand claps, and sing-alongs among the electric boogaloo, and the result is a humming chorus of cozy lyricism about mice, trains, rainbows, and barn dancing. Robot-Tim, rounds out the twee pair on the keyboard alongside Knuth to create a truly otherworldly experience. Basically great music and a lot of fun.

Stony Island.   They had a Grand Opening celebration on the 3rd.   We'll have a photo filled post about the store with great prices, a sense of humor, and a heart.   We'll have all the details about their philanthropic, good neighbor give away.   Nearly 7,000 families in Chicago's south side neighborhoods were given a free bag of groceries in a colorful, reusable bag.

*We even have a free bag of groceries to give away here on ChiIL Mama, courtesy of Save-A-Lot.   Our full feature and entry form will be up this weekend.
