Sham Rock for St. Patrick's Day

Everyone's Irish in Chicago today.   And what's more lucky and more Irish than a shamrock.   We've got a shamrock of a different sort for ya.   The Shams are a fun, Chicago band for the big kids and grown ups (tho kids dig 'em, too).   And they do rock!

They've been one of our adult Win A Disc Wednesday bands and we've given away CDs and show tickets to see them at Lincoln Hall where we shot a big ol' slide show of fun stills.   We will be offering more chances to win free copies of their disc, Champagne, in the near future.

For St. Patrick's day we have 2 fun surprises for you.    We brought a crew in and filmed their recent gig at The Whistler.    And we'll have some of that footage up for you this week.   You can see Donnie Biggins gettin' jiggy with The Shams cover of Bob Dylan's classic, Maggie's Farm.   We'll have the rest of the show up on Vimeo and YouTube in the very near future.   The Shams are Donnie Biggins, Paul Gulyas, Doug Hill, Brian Patterson, Ben White

Shamrocks are lucky.   And lucky for you...The Shams are gonna rock Cole's Bar tomorrow night with a totally FREE, local 21+ show in Logan Square.   Check out all the details on Facebook.

we are playing another free show this Friday in Logan Square at Cole's Bar - with The Mood @ Cole's Bar! and RAMBOS at Coles this Friday - http://www.facebook.com/event.
