Here at ChiIL Mama, it's been our pleasure to cover The International Home and Housewares Show (IHHS) every year since 2012. 

It's not open to the public, so I'm happy to be the eyes and ears for my readers. IHHS is the premiere resource for cutting edge trends, new releases, products still in development, and exciting new inventions. I love to focus on eco-friendly products and useful gadgets that make life easier or problem solve. I also keep an eye out for kid friendly and pet friendly finds.

I do enjoy shooting our annual photo filled features on The International Home and Housewares Show (IHHS). This massive trade show takes up 3 entire halls of the massive McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago every year and is beyond impressive. 

It's a great opportunity to meet chefs, enjoy tasty treats, and hear about hot new trends.

It's time once again for the incredibly huge, unbelievably cool world showcase for the home, The International Home and Housewares show right here in Chicago. We've been covering it extensively for years and this season's no exception. As we gear up for our coverage this year, I wanted to again give a thankful and happy shout out to a few of our favorites from 2014.

HUGE thanks again to WiltonArmetale. This whimsical and practical platter has become one of our favorites since I won it at the IHHS Housewares Show last year. It's a gorgeous piece and so useful as grill to tableware!

I won two BIG 32oz Mason Jar cups and gift cards to Binny's Beverage Depot for one of my tweets! Thanks again Aladdin. They've been put to great use this year!
