Look for ChiIL Mama this weekend: At North Coast Fest, Billy Elliot, Redmoon's J.O.E., and Mammoths & Mastodons

It's going to be a beautiful Labor Day weekend!  We'll help you take the labor out of figuring out the weekend highlights...
Rock out Friday through Sunday at North Coast Music Fest--This is going to be a good one!   Hopefully North Coast will become an annual tradition as summer's last stand.   We love these guys.   They just raised the age of free children from under 10 to 12 and under, because they know families rock!

**All children 12 years and under will be admitted to the festival free of charge. Because North Coast is generous, and kids deserve good live music too.

Billy Elliot--Broadway in Chicago is celebrating it's 10 year anniversary, and ChiIL Mama will have the full scoop for you after tonight.   This award winning musical has been spawning rave reviews.   We can't wait to check it out.

Mammoths & Mastodons exhibit at The Field Museum is going the way of the dinosaurs and will be extinct after September 6th.

The exhibition, developed by The Field Museum, marks the first display of the baby mammoth in the United States and includes not only Lyuba's preserved body, but also scientific evidence shedding new light on mammoth biology. You'll discover how Lyuba enhances our understanding of the evolution of mammoths and their relatives: modern-day elephants, which are facing their own struggle for survival today.

Also highly recommended:

Lookingglass Alice has been extended again, but must close September 12th.   Don't be like the white rabbit....late for this very important date.   Get your tickets today.

Chicago Jazz Festival   We've been going to Jazz Fest every year for decades and are sad to miss it this time around.   We highly recommend this excellent music fest and can't believe how luck we are that it's still free.   Come on down to Grant Park Thursday through Sunday and ChiIL Out to world class jazz musicians.

Bristol Renaissance Faire  It's the last weekend for Ren Fair 2010.   Click here for Sagezilla and Du-Jay's fabulous adventures in merry olde England, earlier this summer.
