Earth Hour Tonight at 8:30pm

Earth Hour is Today (Saturday) starting at 8:30 pm
It's time to turn off, tune in and drop out.   Turn off your lights, that is, for (at least) one hour on Saturday starting at 8:30 pm. Earth Hour is a demonstration of how much energy we use/overuse. People in at least 135 countries will participate.  Click the link for more info.

Kick the TV & video game habit and read together by candle light, sing songs, or hang outside in nature.  We love to camp as a family and as much as we LOVE city life, we need to go to where the trees are taller than the buildings, to see stars and recharge.   Tonight the light pollution will ease up and we may even be able to see some stellar sights from our own urban back yards!

p.s. Earth Day in the Parks is April 21

Instead of staying inside for Earth Hour, Tula Yoga is offering aspecial candlelight restorative yoga class appropriate for all levels. Live
acoustic music will also be provided by Logan Square resident, guitarist
and yogi, Neil Dixon Smith.

Class is from 8:30-9:30 and you can just drop-in for $15 (regular class
price). Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to check in before we 'shut
down'.
