Jockey Goes Beyond Tighty Whities With A Fun Bras & Blowouts Event #sponsored #JockeyBra

A Night To Get Fit and Get Fit

Disclosure: It was my great pleasure to be invited to a private press event by Jockey, and I have been compensated for spreading the word about their line of bras. As always, all opinions are my own.

Back in they day, if you'd said Jockey to me, I would have instantly envisioned a rider on a race horse or boy briefs... tighty whities (maybe both simultaneously). A few years back I was invited to a Jockey Blogger Brunch and left with a much broader perspective on their excellent, expanded line of underwear, and a fun little key chain I still love to torment my kids with. It's a tiny, green pair of Y front briefs that my tween & teen find mortifying, which I think is hilarious.

Jockey hasn't just gotten more colorful (or smaller) over the years. They've branched out into bras and beyond. This is one of the most comfortable bras I've ever worn, actually. And they take the time to custom fit real human beings, not just super models, with a wide range of cup sizes and accurate band measurements! This is the sweet style I chose and I've been wearing it a LOT since it arrived in the mail late last week.

Generally I have a love/hate relationship with bras (I love to hate them). They dig in, and I can't wait to whip them off as soon as I'm out of the public eye. So I tend to buy strapless ones, so I can make my escape easier, and those unyielding underwires are more painful than others, so I hate them more and take them off faster... and so it goes. A vicious circle of bra torture. Now I've finally found a comfortable, attractive bra I'm not desperate to ditch. Thank YOU, Jockey®! Truly.

If you follow ChiIL Mama on Instagram, Twitter, and/or Facebook, you already got a bit of a real time sneak peek into our Bras & Blowouts evening. Indeed I did let my hair down and have some fun, thanks to JOCKEY bra. It was a hoot to be invited to their exclusive Bras & Blowouts event at The Dailey Method Chicago on June 26. It was truly a night to get fit and get fit.

As a special guest, I was treated to a complimentary bra fitting and custom JOCKEY bra ($60 value), fun 30-minute Dailey Method barre class, a blowout courtesy of Mario Tricoci Hair Salon & Day Spa, and an amazing swag bag.

Thanks a zillion to Gloria from Mario Tricoci Hair Salons & Day Spas. You are a rock star!

She did a beautiful blow out and she even combed out my horrid little dreadlock underneath, at the nape of my neck. Very impressive!

I went for the Blowout, but loads bloggers opted for a polish change instead. We've been to a number of press events with Mario Tricoci over the years and I've always been uber impressed with their professionalism, and their great results!

We also enjoyed tasty treats at the #JockeyBra Bras and Blowouts press event!! Thanks again to The Dailey Method for hosting.

Founded on kinesiology and core alignment principles, The Dailey Method is a full body workout that combines ballet barre work, core conditioning, yoga and orthopedic exercises designed to strengthen, tone, and lengthen the entire body to produce quick physical results and balance in the body.

Research shows that 85% of women are wearing the wrong sized bra. Jockey is changing everything with a new way to measure for a bra, and a new bra itself! Jockey’s patented Volumetric Fit system measures actual three dimensional breast volume. Designed by women, for women, it’s the first and only way to measure your breast and shape for a fit that feels like it was custom made just for you! If you're tired of the tyranny of terrible bras, try JOCKEY bras on for size. I'm glad I did!
